It's all about visual storytelling. Working a bit like a journalist, a reportage illustrator discovers and records ever-changing stories as they happen using drawing.
Reportage illustration has the ability to perfectly capture what your day feels like. It’s able to record the personal moments that camera lenses often can’t see - the atmosphere, energy, emotion and unstaged moments of celebration.
You can document the entire day from the preparation, setting up the venue, to the ceremony, the dinner, the speeches the dancing and the partying. The original artworks are yours to keep, plus you'll get hi-res digital copies to share with guests.
Tim is an award-winning reportage illustrator. His project ‘Drawn on Real Life’ was featured widely in the media including in The Metro, The Evening Standard and Timeout. He’s been interviewed live on ITV News and even drawn behind the scenes during a live broadcast.
"We got married in Italy last September and Tim joined us to live draw our three day wedding.
He was discreet and didn’t miss a moment, drawing on paper to match our wedding colours and capturing all the individual characters so perfectly.
Tim truly captures the mood of your special day like a photographer cannot, by incorporating snippets of conversation into his drawings. All those little moments you miss on your wedding day. It was wonderful to look back and see parts of the day we hadn’t before."

On average, the story of a wedding can be captured in 14 images, depending on the day's agenda and scale of drawings.
But every wedding is unique, so let’s have a chat to work out what’s best for you.
We'll work out your preferred image sizes, colour schemes, special moments to focus on, and how you would like the artworks presented.
I'm based in the United Kingdom, but am always willing to travel and love to document stories in different destinations.
